The proposed system monitors real-time environmental, hydrological and meteorological parameters with emphasis on the monitoring of water resources, both surface (lakes, rivers, seas) and groundwater (aquifer).
The system consists of a network of local stations to transmit their measurements to a central data collection station and enables the collection and processing of measured values and the representation in graphical technology SCADA, remote monitoring option while the stations.Such a system allows the knowledge of environmental conditions in the region, identify and predict hazardous situations (when we have exceeded the prescribed limits of environmental parameters), early warning services and competent institutions to take corrective action under normal conditions and the information society, information from scientific organizations or sectors of production, etc. The biggest benefit to be gained by using such a system is gradually improving environmental conditions and quality of life of local residents.
